Mary And I had a crazy fun day out on the Yuba for the Jubilee! Everyone that's anyone about the Yuba was there. despite the 90+ degree weather lots of people came to hang out and talk about the river and the current fishing as well as the next years fishing! MAry and I brought our typical booth with a few add fun stuff to share with everyone. Lance and Jon put on a great party, everyone got to giggle and lawn cast any of my rods that were set up!

Come visit me at this years Spey O Rama event in Golden Gate Park this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday. April 21, 22 and 23. Its a crazy cool event of incredible spey casters sharing their abilities to cast a mile. Also i'll have a table space, sharing some of my new bamboo Spey rods. Mary and I are super busy getting ready for the coming Fly Fishing show in Pleasenton this coming February 24,25 and 26th. Over the few past months i've been working on a Quadrate rod that has the metric of a 5wt taper but because of the ammonium toning process these rods come out as a 6/7wt. This rod i'm giving away to a lucky fly fisher next week! Its 8'1" dressed in bright nickel silver with antique gold and java silk wraps. It will be great for summer or spring steelhead fishing on the Trinity River or casting to migratory Brown trout on the McCloud River or big rising Rainbows on the Fall River in Nor Cal.
